“Our wedding day was nothing short of amazing. It was a day full of love, laughter, and phenomenal dances moves. Like many couples, we had to move our original wedding date due to the pandemic… and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. Sean and I have been together for nine years so having a day to celebrate how far we have come and how far we still have to grow was incredibly special. Having all the people we love most in one room while we exchanged vows was everything we had dreamed of and more.

Our amazing team of vendors helped bring our vision to life and there were so many little details that showcased our love and lives in the most appropriate way (from having my students write the place cards, to our beer growler centrepieces from our favourite breweries, we left no detail undone). I felt absolutely gorgeous in my Sash + Bustle gown (Kaplan by Wtoo). I was worried that I wouldn’t feel the same in my gown after waiting so long – I had purchased it the summer of 2020 and didn’t try it on again until I did the alterations for our wedding. But I had nothing to worry about.

The staff at Sash + Bustle were so attentive and patient with me while I tried on gown after gown until I knew I had made the right selection. Sean couldn’t stop commenting on how gorgeous I looked. I will love my dress forever and I will probably never replicate how amazing, confident and elegant I felt.
