New York Bridal Fashion Week Spring 2023 Trends

Last week the S+B team took a bite out of the Big Apple at New York Bridal Fashion Week. Here’s some of our favourite trends

Last week the S+B team took a bite out of the Big Apple at New York Bridal Fashion Week.

We returned to NYBFW aka Bridal Market – and boy, did it feel good! Bridal Market is our opportunity to shop ’til we drop – meeting designers from every corner as they showcase their latest collections. And while there is no shortage of amazing gowns coming to S+B, there were definitely a few top trends that stood out. Take a look below and let us know what trend you’re excited to see at S+B in the near future.

Extra Long Sleeves

If there is anything we learned from the last few seasons – sleeves are here to stay! Keeping the sleeve trend strong but fresh, is extra long sleeves a la Hailey Bieber. This trend may be subtle but we love how casual and feminine it feels. Also a trend that highlights your mani and wedding ring? Um, yes please.

Bows

If you like it then you should have put a bow on it. That’s how the song goes right?! Well, it should, because bows were all over the runway. Whether it was itty bitty or dramatically oversized. We loved this utterly classic yet youthful trend, and you’ll be seeing it on everything from dresses, hair accessories and earrings.

Party Dresses

If there’s one thing the pandemic taught us, is to celebrate the moment while we can! So, it’s no surprise that party dresses are all the rage. Whether it’s the pre-party, party or a post party look we think a fun mini is the perfect way to say ‘I freakin do!’

Off The Shoulder Neckline

A little décolletage never hurt nobody. A fav neckline for us and our designers was off the shoulder. This classic neckline feels so unbelievably soft and femme while being subtly sexy.

Hand Painted Fabrics

Picasso- who? Our designers got artistic this season with hand-painted fabrics. If you want to feel luxe and one-of-a-kind what better way than the designer literally hand painting your gown?! How cool is that, this artsy trend gets an A+ from us.
