So you may have noticed, we love hosting Trunk Shows at Sash + Bustle ! You may also be wondering what a Trunk Show is, or why you should attend. Well, we would love to educate you!

A Trunk Show is a traveling designer event that typically features their latest and/or greatest collection. These events are typically with us for a weekend but occasionally we’re lucky enough to host for several weeks! Each Trunk Show is exclusive to our boutique; either in Toronto, the province or in some exciting cases even in Canada. We also occasionally feature Trunk Shows for designers that we don’t permanently carry at S+B – giving brides a chance to see something new and allowing us to preview and potentially bring new designers to S+B!

At S+B we carry a very curated collection, Trunk Shows are the perfect time to to see even MORE styles by a designer you love. On top of seeing exclusive pieces Trunk Shows are also the perfect opportunity to score an amazing incentive like a discount on your gown, discount on customizations, gift with purchase and more!!

Your appointment will flow very similar to a regular day, you’ll have a dedicated stylist to walk you through the collections. The Trunk Show will be front and centre in our gorgeous showroom, so shop from just that or check out or permanent collection, or BOTH – totally your call!

Often times we will suggest to come for an introductory Sweet + Simple Appointment prior to a Trunk Show, so you can focus on our permanent collection which features 20+ different bridal designers. You’ll then have the opportunity to possibly find your favourite designer; we often see brides naturally gravitate to a single designer. Booking follow-up Sweet + Simple Appointment or a Luxe Experience Appointment during a Trunk Show date sets you up for success not only because you now know you love their designs but you have had time to dream and research just a bit more. Sometimes we are able to request styles if asked with enough notice before the event.

And don’t forget! Trunk Shows are limited and exclusive events, so if there’s a Trunk Show dress you love both the dress and the incentive will only be available during the Trunk Show dates
