“Our wedding took place on a brisk, sunny day in early May. My now-husband and I have been together for nearly 11 years, so this day felt like the perfect beginning to a whole new decade (and beyond) of loving each other. We were surrounded by 170 of our closest family and friends as we celebrated in our indoor/outdoor venue space which looked out onto beautiful lush grounds and a pond complete with swans.
I knew I wanted something unique for our wedding portraits, so we took our 18-person bridal party to Archive Studios for the photo shoot of our dreams. I had this vision of the dress in Archive’s modern, minimal interior space and the photos did not disappoint! (Major shout out to our lovely photographer, Cara Chapman.)
Honestly, the best way to describe how I felt in my wedding dress would be: completely myself. Seriously, it’s as if the dress was made just for me. It complimented my personal style perfectly and the stunning silk tie bows sealed the deal. It was simple, timeless and effortless, which is exactly what I was looking for. My family and friends swooned over it just as much as I did. I added a white leather jacket (lovingly personalized for me by my MOH) to complete the look. Finding my dress at S+B was truly one of the best parts of my wedding planning journey. “
