Our wedding day started off hectic, after waking up to a hotel suite COVERED in makeup because our [then 3yo] daughter decided to get up during the night and start putting herself together. Thankfully everything ‘white’ was tucked away safe and we were able to remove all evidence of her overnighter before any big events!
The guest list for our wedding was exclusively family (very special on its own*) including numerous members ranging from toddler to tween. Since we chose a gallery for our wedding venue, and aren’t big on knick-knacks or trinkets ourselves, we thought it would be fun for all to have a caricature artist in attendance so everyone could take home a personalized piece of art to hang up and remind them of our special day. It was such a hit, with the littles especially, that our artist Dani was able to draw most by memory by the end of the night HAHA!
After almost two decades of being together, I very much value Kyle’s opinion so knew that when the day came that I would want his help finding my dress. He had previously seen the Tara Lauren dress in one of my many online searches so suggested that I try it on during my appointment at Sash + Bustle (which he came to) … and I absolutely loved it. It was literally ‘Kismet’!
The beading on my bridal gown was so beautiful that I searched out and overseas shipped matching 3D printed hair pins for me and my daughter (+ flower girl).
