“It was a gorgeous day! The weather turned out well and my photographer, Carlie, captured everything so beautifully. We got married at the St. Thomas Golf & Country Club in Union, Ontario.

We went for some beautiful late afternoon pictures in Port Stanley nearby. The old vintage truck of my stepdad’s was the icing on the cake, especially for my photographer. It was a wonderful evening full of laughs and of course dancing to the amazing band. Everyone thought our first dance was rehearsed because my dress flowed so beautifully! But it was just years of my partner and I dancing in the kitchen.

My aunt is a seamstress, she helped bustle my dress and added the delicate bow on the shoulder – I really wanted a bow somewhere! My mom made my veil, I just love pearls.”
