After a week of rain, on Saturday October 22nd, the sun shone down on the beautiful autumn colours and gave us the most perfect fall wedding day. It was exactly how I had imagined our day. 

I was so excited to marry the love of my life that I wouldn’t have cared if it poured like it had all week, but it was like all the cards in the universe came together for us. 

The morning of, getting ready with my bridal party, is a memory I will never forget. It was so magical being surrounded by so much love and support. They are truly the most amazing bridal party I could ever ask for! Having them with me was the best feeling while I couldn’t stop smiling, anticipating seeing Joe for the first time at the altar.

Stepping into my dress on my wedding day gave me butterflies, just like it had at Sash + Bustle. I never had an image of what my dress would look like before I found it, but after trying countless dresses on at multiple stores, once I stepped into Alexa by Love, I was IN love. I adored the intimate florals and lace. I loved how it hugged my body but also gave me freedom to move and dance. The sleeves were my favourite. They were so romantic and perfect for fall, but also gave me the chance to remove them for the dance floor! 

The rest of our day felt like a fairy tale. Seeing Joe at the altar, with his first time seeing me in my dress, is a core memory in my heart. His tears brought me to tears and I truly felt like although we were in a church full of people, it was just us two together at that moment. 

My dress gave me the confidence to feel my best on the most important day of my life. It was the most perfect day and I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
