“The whole day was a dream, we were lucky enough to not have to reschedule during the whole wedding process and we are so thankful for that.
First let’s start with the planning process, I was not sure what to expect from the whole thing. The moment I walked into Sash + Bustle and tried on that dress I knew it was the one. I loved how they knew what I wanted before I even did! I did not picture myself in the classic timeless dress I chose but as soon as I tried it on I knew it was the one for me.
The day was amazing and we were able to have our family and friends with us for the big day (in person and virtually due to capacity restrictions) with only a few mask mandates. My relative made a beautiful mask that complimented the dress completely. I’m from North Bay so I love the outdoors and everything nature, so I picked a florist that also loved that and her wild and gorgeous style was exactly what I hoped.
My something old is my pearl jewelry that my grandfather gave to my grandmother on her wedding day. My something borrowed was my veil, also my grandmas, and all of the granddaughters have worn it at their wedding. I knew that it was all meant to be when we brought the veil to the appointment and it looked like they were made to go together!
Summer came back for just one day and we had warm weather and went to the beach to take pictures. I loved the train, it was long enough without being too long and honestly looked glorious for all the photos.
The dress was everything that I couldn’t even dream up, it was perfect and an amazing part of my fairy tale day! I wouldn’t have changed anything in my day and I’m so happy.”
