Bride is wearing “Amelia” Alyssa Kristin
“Josh and I got married on a cold and rainy November evening surrounded by our loved ones. I remember being told many times during the planning process that our wedding day would be the best day of our lives. However, no one really prepares you for the overwhelming amount of love that comes from having all of your loved ones in one room supporting you and your partner as you commit your lives to one another. I was entirely overwhelmed with love for and from Josh, our families and friends all day.
I was not a little girl who dreamed of my wedding dress. In fact, I came to Sash and Bustle without a hot clue of what I wanted to try on. Paddy took me under his wing and helped me find an elegant crepe silk gown that was both figure flattering and representative of my laid back casual style. I wore Josh’s grandmother’s veil from 1956, as the fifth Russell bride to do so. I think the contrast of the vintage veil and modern gown gave our photos a classic yet contemporary vibe. I felt beautiful, comfortable and incredibly excited to start our lives as husband and wife.”
