“Like most couples who have been planning weddings during the pandemic, things did not exactly go according to plan and we ended up having to make some difficult decisions. We live in Alberta and dreamed of getting married in the mountains, which meant we needed to downsize our wedding to a very intimate celebration with our immediate family. Although we originally envisioned sharing this day with all of our family and friends across the country and the world, it was so special to have our parents and siblings there with us, and we got to soak in every moment together.

I found my dress at Sash + Bustle last summer with my mom, and it was actually the first dress I tried on at their boutique! It didn’t hit me right away that this dress was the one, but my stylist helped me envision some small changes that would make this dress absolutely perfect. It was so flowy and dreamy, and it was just the right combination of feeling both natural and elegant that I was searching for. I didn’t intentionally choose my dress to suit my venue – but something about the light and airy feel of my dress paired with the mountain setting was just magical!”
