“I can’t say enough good things about my experience at Sash + Bustle. My first appointment was a virtual (due to COVID) with Tanisha who was so friendly and very helpful. We made a list of gowns I loved so I could try them on in store when it was safe to do so. Unfortunately because of COVID I was only able to have one guest with me to try on dresses and at the time my mum was not healthy enough to make the commute into the city. Vanessa was so thoughtful and caring she allowed me to bring my top 3 dresses HOME to try on for my mum! We gathered together and put on a fashion show and I said yes to my beautiful gown – Joelle! My mum managed to accompany me to Toronto to purchase my dress March 17, 2020 and the girls took a picture of us together holding my dress as a keepsake. This was one of our last photos together and I am so grateful to have it.
Sean and I have been together since we were in high school. After nearly 12 years of dating, we were married on October 14th, 2022. It hailed all morning and just an hour before the ceremony started the sky cleared and the sun (I like to think my mum) was shining down on us.
We got married in a beautiful garden at Royal Ashburn surrounded by the people we love the most. We incorporated lots of Irish traditions and my mums presence was felt throughout the entire day.
My dress made me feel so beautiful and I had so many compliments on it. It felt like it was made for me. My veil (Felicia by Untamed Petals) which I also purchased at Sash + Bustle completed the look. It was so whimsical I felt like I was in a fairy tail.
Thank you so much to everyone at Sash + Bustle!”
