Yu was launched in Singapore in 2006 as a cocktail and evening label, which received great reception and generous reviews from the press. The Yu collection comprises of modern silhouettes and a blend of natural fabrics like silk and cotton. Ruched and finely draped dresses are Yu’s signature style, with every new collection being quirky, sexy and oozing with contemporary charm. In 2009, the bridal line Love, Yu was created, continuing and evolving the looks that are signature to Yu. Love, Yu bridal gowns are simple, timeless and chic. Since the launch it has been featured in various magazines such as US Brides, as well as on the New York talk show CNBC Squawk Box.
